This month, Soriana will start the construction of a wind power plant in Tamaulipas, with an investment of $100 to $ 120 million dollars, said Ricardo Martin Bringas, general director of the company.

The plant will start operations by the end of 2012, explained the executive during the opening of a store Soriana Super, in Valle Poniente.

The company planned the construction of four more wind farms in the next two years, with a similar investment on average for each venue.

The idea is to start the construction of wind farms in the next two years and that in four years these are already operating.

The executive emphasized that they will seek to supply with this wind generation all its stores in the country; in total, the company has 565 units.

Martin Bringas reported that the strategy of differentiation by store format has been giving good results in sales because they are generating more utility in each format.
